Sambalpuri Jacket: Sambalpuri artwork is created by weaving cotton into patterns called Bandha. Vibrant motifs make the Bandha patterns look surreal. These patterns are pigmented in a way that they can’t be coloured into a new one. The designs are added to textiles used for sarees, dhoti, handkerchiefs, and even salwar suits. The textiles with Sambalpuri art created by the natives of Odisha are extensively popular.
This product will be displayed at the Nehru Centre, London from 20-24 March 2023.
