Kathputli Puppets

Kathputli is a string puppet theatre, native to the Rajasthan state of India, and is the most popular form of Indian puppetry. It is practiced by a traditional community to narrate folk tales and stories during celebrations and festivals. Women play an important role in the hand crafting of these Kathputli puppet dolls.
