Ikat Handloom

The ikat of Andhra Pradesh originates from different parts of the country. It was introduced in the early 20th century. It is a method of resist-dye technique, ultimately used in pattern textiles. Women wear traditional attire like Sari and Blouses and the men wear Dhoti and Kurta.
